Cities we have checked that have no separate rules

We looked at these and found nothing that differs from the level above them, so there is no separate page. The rules that bind a property there are the ones linked beside it.

• Kraków: Checked on 1 September 2026 against krakow.pl. Kraków levies NO tourist fee on overnight stays and has NO municipal restriction on short-term letting in force. The city has been asking the national government since 2017 for the power to introduce a tourist fee without the climatic criterion Polish law requires, and that power has not been granted. Kraków does run eKON, a municipal monitoring and registration system launched in 2021 and still the only one of its kind in Poland, holding over 3,500 registered properties as at August 2026. • Warszawa: Checked on 1 September 2026. Warsaw levies NO local tourist fee and has NO municipal restriction on short-term letting in force. It cannot levy the opłata miejscowa, because that requires the commune to meet statutory climate and landscape criteria which a capital city does not meet, and the same statutory bar is why Kraków has been lobbying to have the criterion removed. No Polish municipality can impose short-stay zoning restrictions yet either: the national statute that would give them the power is still before parliament and NOT in force.
